Kansas City commercial Photographers
Modeling Photography in Kansas City A Wichita girl comes to Photos Edge for modeling photos Sometimes what starts out as a simple portrait session turns into a full blown modeling portfolio. I first met Riley at Emily and Kevin's Wedding, she was a junior bridesmaid. Several years later she was back with a group of amazing people to help her chase her dreams. What started out as a portrait session several years ago became a full on Modeling session by the time the photo shoot rolled around. It was perfect, because Riley at 16 is really tall, very fit, and besides being the perfect measurements to model, she is pursuing her dreams in the music industry. With guitar in hand we set off for the perfect spots that I scouted the day before. Riley needed to show a variety for modeling. From a more traditional modeling look, to artistic stylings where the photos look like magazine and album covers. There is a perfect combination of head shots, mid body, full body, and artistic looks for any comp card or portfolio that gets sent out to agents and casting directors. I am excited to see what happens to Riley's career! All it takes to start are some great photos. Enjoy! Please do not crop out the logo or use these images for personal promotion or facebook, Thank you.
There are all different kinds of commercial photography and all different uses for the photographs, but ultimately commercial photography is designed to sell. It lets us get to know someone or something. Commercial photographs can inspire, show creativity, introduce us, and change things. I am talking about this type of photography today because spring is almost here. We have been waiting for it and we all are ready for the soft smooth fresh air, green grass, and the bright sun that brings happiness. Spring is all about new beginnings. Funny enough, so is commercial photography. I have had the privilege to photograph some amazing professionals who are ready for a new start and a fresh take. We've got you covered from corporate head shots, personal promotion, modeling, and editorial work. Last Friday I photographed Chris, owner of Tabernacle Homes, and his son Joseph. Chris will be a main speaker for some events coming up and needed some new photos. His son Joseph had a few shots done to see if modeling is his thing. Enjoy the photos.
I am very tired and have been working really hard...I need sometime off. Molly and Aaron's wedding is wonderful and amazing and I can't do it justice in my writing so I will wait for the written story just a little longer. Thank you for everyone's patience as I try to blog everyday and write a profound post for all of my brides. :) I will however never hold out on photos. So I will do like I did with Molly and Aaron's wedding - post the pictures. Because lets face it, I am a photographer and my stories though fun to read are better told in photos. This week's Quick One Up are photos that I pulled out of my lost and found file. Nothing is every really lost, these shots came at the end of the day after rain and after pretty much everyone had left. Leah was wet and her hair "flat" according to Robert, but we had fun anyway. In the end the photos didn't quite fit the EA Bride Fall shoot. It wasn't fall enough and with the all the white sky that was left from the grey cloudy storm the photos didn't fit in. i loved this dress, it was full of color and life. Adding the veil made the look so spanish. Anyway thank you Leah for the modeling and thank you to Bridal Extraordinaire for the dresses. Enjoy!
I have this thing that I am doing, it is crazy but I am detremined to not stop on day 3. My goal is to blog every day. Yep!!! Every day, and though this seems tough it will work its self out later on and it will not seem as hard on day 40. So... I have 37 days to go before it gets easier. Today is a photo that I have grown to love over the past few days. I have posted it what seems like everywhere and I am not really sure why besides I like it. And maybe for me liking it is enough. Well this image has made its way all over facebook. Tonight it is making it's way onto my blog. Enjoy! I love the firestone building. LOVE IT! Our studio is on the 7th floor and just upstairs is a wonderful event space, The Urban Event, with the best view of the city. We wanted to capture the city night and city lights since couples booking the event space will be enjoying it all night long. We decided on a silhouette style photo that would focus on the city. So, we created a variety of silhouettes for the stunning event space. Enjoy!
