I don't remember if it was cold, though I imagine that it had to be. The colors were vibrant and reminded me of a newly opened box of Crayola crayons. Amber's laughter just increased the joy along with their dog eddie. It was like I was a child again but I colored with my camera.

Express The Dress In The Fall
The color was breath taking as the wind blew lightly through the autumn trees. It screamed yellow, red, orange, I couldnt wait for my shutter to go off and document this beauty. I dont carry a camera everywhere with me, that is not how I work. I Love Life and people are a huge part of that for me. It could be the fashion background but whatever the case maybe I love finding a wonderful location and then find the perfect couple or person to compliment the environment. Ultimately I create Art for my clients and also for myself. I got to create art for Amber and Nathan who had a wonderful Express the Dress session this last week. We had a blast, Marco and I know Amber and Nathan for almost 2 years now. We laughed about our friendship and their dog Eddie, who we photographed last year during their engagement session. Amber and Nathan Love the fall as much as Marco and I do so it worked out really well that they had an Express the Dress Session.

Amber and Nate have the best coloring for the fall and I really think that these photos reflect who they are as a couple.
Through out the session everyone would crack up laughing because of the dog or what someone was doing or had said, so I decided to post a gag reel. Here are some of my favs.

Amber and Nathans Beautiful Wedding
I have to start by saying that this couple is truly amazing. They met us in a coffee shop and we hung out chatting for a bit and laughing a lot; it felt more like hanging out rather than interviewing for wedding photographers. When Marco and I met Amber and Nathan they were almost 2 years away from their wedding. By no surprise Amber had a lot to do, like pick out a dress. Amber was the first bride to invite me to go check out wedding dresses with her. Two dress shops and several gowns later she found the perfect dress. Ive never been soooo excited to photograph a wedding dress in all my life. Amber and I met for coffee about once a month for two years. As you can imagine we became good friends. Nates mom was so hospitable giving up her back yard for their wedding; she planned and planned, building a beautiful arbor and planting all kinds of wonderful flowers. The day went sooo well and the ceremony made me cry behind the camera. Their wedding was in Leawood, KS on a gorgeous day.
The girls got their hair and make up done at Cutting Loose in Overland Park Kansas
I thought this was the coolest thing. The guys began getting ready at Sole Patch Barbershop in Prairie Village Kansas. The guys got a good shave and hung out playing guitars in the Guitar Lounge downstairs.
