Harleigh and Sean's super urban kansas city crossroads engagement sesion
Harleigh and Sean's Engagement
This gorgeously cute couple walked in the studio and told us all about themselves: who they were, how they fell in love, their family histories, everything. It was all on the table. I smiled, all I could do was smile. They were an amazing couple and wonderful people, they were saving their wedding money for a missions trip to help other people. But where she really got me was her humor during their E-session. She laughed and told us, very seriously that they were a "...quirky, dirty little couple." Marco and I cracked up. That day we made friends, really really good friends
Harleigh + Sean: A Kansas City Engagement
Harleigh and Sean came to see Marco and I the other day for some engagement photos. We met at 8:30 am on Saturday and the parking lot was empty imagine that! I love downtown and the Crossroads on Saturdays. It seems that everyone is at Union Station or Crown Center but being just down Grand in between the both of them we are pretty cozy on Saturdays. The hustle-bustle of the city streets are empty, and desolate compared to the parking garage of Crown Center. There are so many wonderful city streets and colorful walls that can be photographed when there isn't traffic. At one of my favorite places to photograph Harleigh and Sean I was standing in the middle of 20th street while Marco kept watch for on-coming cars. There were just a few that could have gotten 10 points for hitting me (does anyone still do that count points for fake hitting pedestrians, like the old video games?). What was so cool about this session was how simple it was, we wandered around the streets by our studio and we stopped at some of my favorite locations that I usually can only dream of photographing, but today with the lack of cars we had so much fun! Harleigh is just plain adorable from her cute little dresses to her curly hair and freckles and Sean though he is a little shy in front of the camera, really expressed his love for Harleigh and ended up look great too. I am looking forward to their wedding this Saturday. Enjoy!
P.S. Marco says: Do not be alarmed as you browse these images, no walls were harmed or peed on during this photo-shoot!
